Research Gap Identification Workshop with the trainers of the Europe Media Trainings

The scope of the workshop, led by excellent trainers, was on one hand to provide the researchers with a clear understanding of the funding opportunities under Horizon Europe, and on the other hand, to prepare them to develop and submit competitive proposals under the upcoming calls of Horizon Europe. To this end, practical presentations was complemented with hands-on workshops, during which the participants worked together to brainstorm and identify suitable opportunities for submitting research and innovation proposals.

During the workshop the researchers were conduct group exercises, through which they were aim at identifying Horizon Europe work programme topics that could be of interest for their research. They practiced coming up with project ideas, including doing some background search such as finding past projects, identifying relevant policies and shortlisting potential partners.
